iPhone users don’t have to miss out on the customization features offered by jailbreaking just because you do not have a jailbroken phone. Not all iPhone users are comfortable with jailbreaking their phone in spite of the fact that it allows you to customize your phone pretty much any way you want. However, there are still plenty of changes you can make to your iPhone even without jailbreaking. Here are some apps you should check out if you are interested in taking your phone to the next level:
- Fantastical – This is a great calendar app to have on your iPhone. The widget offers a great custom calendar that can be accessed from the Notification center. The widget of the stock calendar app only shows you the list of upcoming appointments and events. Fantastical, on the other hand, displays the entire month’s calendar in the Notification center so that you can get a quick sneak peek if you want to.
- Launcher – This app lets you put any shortcut in the notification center, including a shortcut to call your wife or girlfriend, or just a shortcut to an app. It also lets you set up different actions within the apps and set those actions as shortcuts. For instance, you can get the direction to your home from anywhere with just a tap.
- SwiftKey – Although the stock keyboard of the iPhone is getting better with each iteration of the iPhone, you should seriously give SwiftKey a try it comes with a swipe texting feature that lets you type by just swiping from one letter to another.
